Yep, that was quick.
We started Natural Michigan on Tuesday night. Relatively late on Tuesday night, at that. We got it about halfway done in that session, then packed it up to take for its world television premiere on Wednesday afternoon, then came home and – pretty quickly after I got around to posting the Next Up post – we finished it off.
There were no surprises with this one. We thought it would be quick and it was; maybe 2.5 hours of actual work.
As per usual, we did the border first. Then I moved on to the birds and the top of the puzzle in general while Jenny worked on the flowers and the bottom. Our goal was to get the outer edges done so that we could work on the lakes during our TV segment but things moved so quickly in the studio that we didn’t really get anything done there.
We packed it back up and came home – that puzzle tray I got for Christmas really coming in handy – and everything that was left came together really quickly.
We were specifically looking to add a kid-friendly puzzle to our lineup in this series and Natural Michigan definitely fits the bill. Our daughter says it’s her favorite.
This came together so quickly that we didn’t listen to any of our usual music or anything.
Jenny gets the next couple picks and she’s excited. I think we’ll probably start something new on Friday or Saturday.
