I said that I thought “MI Fall Harvest” from So Puzzled Puzzle Company would be quick. I didn’t think it would be quite this quick.
From unboxing to the final piece, this one took us about 2.5 hours, and that includes a break where I stepped away to scroll social media for a bit and another where Jenny stopped to do some stuff for the business side of things. That said, we did have some help at the start as our daughter and my mom took a minute to puzzle with us.

I’d been concerned about the corn stalks in the background but they really weren’t that difficult. There are enough different colors and patterns to sort out which pieces go where pretty quickly. What ended up being most difficult – which wasn’t very difficult at all – were probably the donuts and apples.
While Jenny and I did the border, our guest puzzlers got started putting the orange pumpkins together. I moved on to the tablecloth and Jenny started doing the cornstalks, and then I interfered with the cornstalks as I kind of bounced around everywhere. The apples and the donuts came last, with me focusing on the apples and Jenny on the donuts.
I don’t know if it was our setup or the puzzle itself but both of us thought there was a surprising amount of glare while we were working on this one. We were using our puzzle tray, which we both thought had cut down glare from our usual puzzle table. This puzzle was supposed to have a matte finish, which we didn’t notice, and we expect that a matte finish would have reduced the glare. So that was weird.
Speaking of weird, we did find a bunch of the weird pieces that we love.

We got this one done so quickly that we barely even bothered with music, so no special soundtrack notes this time.
This was the last unique design from the new So Puzzled Puzzle Company series but we have two more that are designs we’ve previously done. We haven’t decided which order we’ll do them in. The Pieceful Puzzler just did Oh MI Cookies! so we might follow up with that one as well.
