Our last of the puzzle swap puzzles! It was super fun, but we were missing one piece, womp womp. Right in the middle of a blue section of books that I worked on, too – rude.
Overall though, this was nice. I loved the colors, even with the fade being more than advertised because of the age of the puzzle. I think the age of the puzzle may have contributed to the less than awesome fit of the pieces in places. We started as per usual, with the edges. I thought the edges were harder than I expected, and abandoned that to work on the different color sections before the border was entirely together.
We continued in the colorful patches for awhile, but with the fading/ombre through the shelf switches made it a little harder to do sections and we switched to pattern matching for individual pieces. This didn’t have an insert, so I took a photo with my phone to zoom in and figure out some of the less recognizable bits.
Now, the question is, does it go back to the puzzle swap? Or do we recycle it because of the missing piece? What do you think?
Stay puzzled!
