Hello again so soon! Next up is a puzzle that is a part of the Ravensburger Abandoned Series, Gloomy Carnival.
This one was in a promotional email sent to me from Amazon, and I immediately thought of the challenge that our friend and streamer, EriannaAbyss does every year, #BioShocktober. Each October she tries to play through all BioShock games in the month of October. We spoke to her about doing a cross-promotional thing. She was on board!
This puzzle has a lot of detail, and should be a lot of fun to put together, especially after the let down of our previous puzzle. The box has a gorgeous finish, so I hope that’s indicative of the finish to expect on the pieces themselves like at Apostrophe or New York Puzzle Company. This is a great puzzle to do for Halloween, an abandoned carnival is spooky as hell!
Due to many external forces, Erianna’s challenge started later, and we hadn’t yet started the Gloomy Carnival puzzle. So, here we are, 9 days left in October. Erianna is onto BioShock 3 in her speed run, and we are about to try and do this 1,000 piece beauty in 9 days, but also not finish it before her last scheduled streaming day for the month (Saturday, October 28). Can we all complete our challenges?
