We’re coming back at it with “Minifigure Rainbow” by Chronicle Books. It’s one of Chronicle’s many licensed Lego-themed puzzles and the second such one we’ve done after “Paint Party” back in 2021.
We picked this up awhile ago at our local independent bookstore, 2 Dandelions Bookshop (which also carries the complete So Puzzled Puzzle Company line). An impulse purchase (along with another Lego-themed design) while waiting in line.
As I mentioned when writing up “Paint Party,” I’ve always been a bit of a Lego geek. That’s faded in recent years with less space to display completed sets but there’s something iconic about minifigs so I’m really looking forward to this puzzle.
That said, I’m also old enough to be like, “Back in my day, minifigs all had the same face” so some of these particular figures are blowing my mind.
I don’t think this puzzle is going to be too difficult. Between the background color and the uniqueness of the minifigs, I expect this to go together more like 66 very small puzzles rather than one large one.
The one obstacle I see is that we’re suddenly very busy (again) lately, which makes it hard to get into a puzzling flow. We’ll have to see how things go.
